New Picture of Katerina!!!

We have a new picture of Katerina!!!  She is lying on her tummy and holding her head up on Her Own!!!  Wow! She is So Breathtakingly Beautiful!!!

Look at those Eyes!!!

And that Cute little button nose!!!  She is absolutely perfect!

She looks incredibly aware to me.  She is trying to crawl, loves to look at books, and sings to her dolly!  What a difference from the picture of her in a crib!  This little Angel is NOT lost!!!  Do you see the potential that I see in her?!!  She would make a wonderful daughter!  She will need surgery to place a Shunt to regulate the fluid around her brain.  About 1 in 500 Children are born with Hydrocephalus.  It is usually caught very early here in the U.S. and treated accordingly.  The children in our country have the advantage and blessing of early detection and treatment.  In Katerina's country, orphans that are born with hydrocephalus are denied surgery.  This will mean a slow painful death for this Precious, Beautiful child!  It tears my heart out to even think it!

Please, please, please help us spread the word about Katerina!  Post a link to this blog on your FB pages, blogs, anywhere and everywhere!!!  I know that there are So Many people that would adopt her and Love and Cherish her, but most of us don't just have 25-30 Grand just lying around.  If we could raise a full grant for her, I know a family would step forward for her!!!  So please, help us save Katerina!!!

She deserves to know the love of a Mommy and Daddy and to know how it feels to be held, nurtured, cherished, and treasured!  She needs someone to love her enough to save her, to pour themselves into her, someone that would see her as the angel and the blessing and the treasure that she is, someone that will have joy in every accomplishment, every smile, every milestone reached no matter how long it takes her to get there, every day that they are blessed to share with her, and in helping her reach her full potential!!!  I know that there are people like this out there!  God has given you a heart and a love for orphans with special needs.  So I ask each of you, are you meant to be Katerina'a Mommy and Daddy?  Single moms are allowed to adopt from this country as well!  And if you don't feel called to step forward and adopt her, won't you consider giving to her adoption fund?  I know that times are tough in this economy, but even $5 would make a huge difference to this little angel.

Several people have asked why we don't adopt her if we care about her so much.  Well, we would....in a heartbeat, no hesitation, no second thoughts!  We would love to be Katerina's Mommy and Daddy!  However we are already in the middle adopting two from another country.  We have talked to the partner agency in Katerina's country and we will not be considered for Katerina at this time.  Our children are not due to come home until the first or second week of March.  They want us to have them home for several months before we would even be allowed to start the process for her.  Katerina is due to be transferred to an institution in March, where she will surely die.  She doesn't have the time to wait around on us.  So that is why I am coming to all of you!  Her family has to be out there somewhere, someone that can bring her home ASAP!!!
